San Antonio carries a structural problem most cities don’t have, and Kyden Point exists because of it. The largest single Department of Defense installation in the United States is here. Joint Base San Antonio is the merger of Fort Sam Houston, Randolph Air Force Base, and Lackland Air Force Base. Eighty thousand active-duty personnel.
